20.03.2010 BALOU STAR impressed at stud show in Meissenheim   To stand beside so impressive studs and internationally proven sports horses as for example Arioso du Theillet, Tinka's Boy, Eurocommerce Paris, or Mangnus Romeo on the same stud farm, is definately a big honour for STAR BALOU and also for us. Arioso du Theillet is no one less than the sire of Beat Mändli's worldcup winner Ideo du Thot ! On the 14th of March these and other stallions of the Gestüt Grenzland appeared in Emmendingen together on the very well organised stud show at the riding facility at Meissenheim and presented themseves to a competent horse people's audience. Under his rider Daniel Opperman and before full spectator's ranks, BALOU STAR BALOU presented himself once again in top condition. From a very fluent and space-taking galopp STAR BALOU mastered each of the 1.10 m to 1.30m fences in his equally scopey and casual manner. The spectators became inspired by both rider's and horses skilful presentations and paid this with strong applause. Once again, we would like to take the opportunity and thank Gestuet-Grenzland for their organisation of such a professional stud show.
